Boothe's traditional art training began in New York and flourished in France where she studied for five years under the impressionists. She is the proud recipient of "Homage de la Ville de Menton" in the Villefranche Exhibition in France. Back home in California, her awards are too numerous to mention. She is an exhibiting member of OPA; AIS; California Art Club, LPAPA, S.D.Musuem of Art Guild and others.
